    With its headquarters in Espírito Santo and global operations, Sião has been developing engineering, construction, and electromechanical assembly solutions and supplying industrial plants on a turnkey basis.

    Sião has earned a distinguished reputation with a complete portfolio of A-Z solutions, mainly in the construction of metal equipment.

    The Sião Group is proud to support the community and contribute to the development of young people, adults, and seniors. Over 20 years of experience Units have a total area of over 40,000 m²

  • RD&I is an important aspect of Sião's success. We have numerous projects in development, not only to improve our solutions, but also to lead the next generation of energy and equipment solutions. Through our partnerships with leading research centers in Brazil and abroad, we are prepared to be at the forefront of innovation in our segment.

    OUR FOCUS

    Composite materials:

    Since 2014, we have been executing projects to develop new composite materials for thermal insulation and equipment.

    Computer Simulations:

    We have our own software for thermal simulation and steam injection design. It gives us control over all relevant variables and actual thermal behavior under specific conditions.

    Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery (MEOR):

    In partnership with IFES (Federal Institute of Espírito Santo), Sião Petróleo is studying a new, efficient, economical and environmentally safe microbial method to improve oil recovery and promote bioremediation.

    RD&I RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Cadastral Classification Registration Certificate (CRCC), which maintains up-to-date information on companies qualified to supply goods or services to all Petrobras units.
